kris
Kris splits her time between the Bay Area and Central Vermont.
A lifelong artist, poet, and maker, she has worked extensively in childcare, education, and vegetable farming. Her art hurdles over a wide range of forms and disciplines, focusing on bright colors, humor, and discarded and overlooked objects.
Kris has been exploring and offering peer-therapy experiences since 2019. She has volunteered with the Berkeley Free Clinic’s Peer Counseling Collective, as well as led introductory workshops and peer-support groups, all free-of-cost.
Home organizing provides Kris an opportunity to support others in a process that tangibly increases quality of life and supports empowerment in the home and beyond.
For Kris, all of these interests enrich one another, strengthening her creativity, compassion, and collaboration.
